Los Angeles in Chaos - a Time for Choosing

June 9th, 2025

Since Friday, Los Angeles has descended into unrest. ICE officers have met with violent resistance while enforcing our nation’s immigration laws. National guard personnel have been assaulted while protecting Federal property. Property damage has been extensive. LAPD and ICE officers have been attacked with projectiles, bricks and commercial fireworks. The 101 freeway has been closed by protestors.

Where is Gavin Newsom? Suing President Trump — again. Where is Karen Bass? Blaming the unrest on the personnel enforcing Federal law.

Rather than support those tasked with keeping our communities safe, California’s political elite continue to undermine the rule of law at every turn. From sanctuary city policies to endless lawsuits aimed at dismantling Federal immigration enforcement, their agenda is clear: chaos over order, politics over public safety.

Let’s be clear: no nation survives without borders. No community thrives without law and order. And no society can endure when its leaders actively work against the very laws they swore to uphold.

At Project LAC, we support the long-established supremacy of Federal law in our constitutional system. President Trump has not just the right, but the obligation, to enforce Federal immigration law. Those who violate Federal law should be held accountable, without fear or favor. Lawful authority - whether it is the local police or sheriffs, ICE personnel, the national guard or active-duty military personnel - deserve our support for faithfully enforcing our laws. President Trump is cleaning up the immigration disaster that his predecessor left him.

If you believe in the supremacy of Federal law in our constitutional system, restoring order and upholding the rule of law, we need your help. Project LAC will empower candidates and causes that are fighting back against this wave of lawlessness and anarchy. Join us to take back our county and ultimately our state.

America is watching. It’s time to stand firm for the rule of law.
